This project has been developed in an interdisciplinary way with the other verticals of The Bridge School bootcamps in 2022. It is proposed as the final project of the course and lasts two weeks. Teams are created and each has contact with a real client and a specific problem. At the end of the challenge, each group is expected to present a real digital product.
In our case, the client was EmancipaTIC, a non-profit organisation that dreams of a more inclusive society in which people over 50 are an active part of it by helping them to have access to technology.
The work requested consisted of providing a solution to Digital Ageism in three different ways: through user reviews of the accessibility of the apps and websites they use; with the creation of an automated evaluation report so that the client can propose solutions to companies and giving them the possibility of requesting test users to improve the accessibility of their digital products.
